Her research focuses on the pathogenesis of solar elastosis and accumulation of advanced glycation end products in photoaging, and the involvement of cathepsins in photoaging. She has got grants from the Scientific Program of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Natural Science Foundation and National Natural Science Foundation of China. She also is interested in laser therapy to treat chloasma and freckles.? ??
